We recently had a roof put on. We are disputing the charges, we also believe that he is price gouging, and have asked for an itemized bill. The contract has not been completed nor has an itemized bill been received. Part of the problem is also that there were supposed to be extra shingles delivered and they have not received by us as of yet. The contractor has told me that he has an attorney on hand and will start filing today at 4:30. Can he do this if the contract has not been fulfilled? The final inspection was on 11/23. Please help I am getting tired of being threatened with leins and foreclosures. At this time I cannot even pay for the roof and leave the shingles out of the payment because I do not know what they cost.
