Hi all-

I live in MD and recently left my job to take up a much better offer with a competing company. I have been told that my previous employer only has 3 days to send my last check out. Is this correct? By law, is there a time-frame which they must adhere to?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a great night.

There is a time frame they must adhere to; however, whoever told you it was three days is mistaken. In Maryland, regardless of whether you quit or are fired, the employer has until the next regular payday to provide your final check.
