A few years back when I was young and dumb, I purchased a timeshare. Now, it will be foreclosed. Yet, I'm still being hassled by the company's financial services department for the maintenance fees which have accrued over the past few years. Am I obliged legally to pay these fees though the timeshare is being foreclosed and I've never used the timeshare?
If so, is there any way around paying the $2163 fee?! Since I'm still young, but not so dumb anymore, it would be an enormous relief to circumvent this huge fee!
Any advice would be very much appreciated!

It may cost you $6,163 to defeat this contractual obligation in court. You decide.

**A: I do not agree with this figure since the OP did not provide the state.
