Timeshare Ownership/Deed or Title Change Question

What is the name of your state?NH is where the timeshare is deeded or titled.

In my divorce agreement (GA) I retain ownership of the timeshare. My husband has taken all of the paperwork including the deed and letter from the finance company indicated the loan is paid in full. What is the process for getting his name off the deed and being issued a new deed or title? Who do I need to contact? The resort has no idea. Interval has no idea. The finance company has no idea and I certainly don't have any idea.

Your resort should really know the answer to this one! I don't know what NH law is, but in MO, your ex would have to sign a quit claim deed transferring ownership to you. At the resort I work for, we do these ownership transfers with special warranty deeds and charge a hefty fee for it. You might check with the recorder's office in the county where your timeshare is located.
