i posted last week i.m.e doc says no more physical therapy,its not helping so my docs last night agreed. ok so thats fine , i have 2 herniated discs in my neck and the i.m.e doc suggests surgery .go for consultation, i told my doc last night he also agrees that surgery should be considered i have all the medication in the world thats to me band aide the problem, and had 3 needles injected into my neck also no help , i,m s... scared of surgery on my neck , but i cannot live like this, my job consists of physical labor but good money as i made overtime i made a descent paycheck thank god for the overtime, i cannot do that type of work right now, docs say so my job told me there is a different type of job opening, as someone is retiring its just general cleaning ,around the building they wrote me a note for my doc to look at, stating what i have to do , only 40 hours and no overtime, but same hourly pay for 40 hours ,i called my lawyer saying this work is physical but not as heavy as my regular job but at least i could get back to work and get back my benifits at work again, i told her i would not be getting anymore overtime from this just a regular paycheck, she said that comp makes up the difference as when i had my accident at work 2 years ago they based my salary on my regular pay and also my overtime, i did not know that comp kicked in the difference if you loose any salary,
also she said my medical will always be open for my life time, i thought once you met m.m. i your medical stops,
well that all sounded great, i went to my doc he said the general cleaning posit
on is not good for me i cannot, do it so now i,m back to square 1 still on comp and no job, its all crazy, what if i dont want surgery only through fear,
do i have to live in pain and medicine for ever will i ever get to m.m.i
does comp pay me till i reach m.m.i sorry this is so long just need some opions on what you guys know, i mean thats why we are all on this web site
