wants cust. after 10 yrs, now that he's $9,000 behind

Is it realy possible that a father who lives in florida, in the navy, could now come and actually get custody of his two teenage daughters who have lived in ohio for last 10 years in same schools, church, home, ect.
Now that his cs has been enforced and he is forced to pay more to pay back 9,000 of arrearage he got behind by not properly raising support in last 10 years?

His family and mine both live here, I have been remarried for 8 years, and have 2 more children at risk of losing big sisters, He now claims that there is abuse and violence in our home towards children, which is obsurd. would he have to prove that, he never could.
If he thought that should he have called childrens services to have it investigated?
Girls don't really want to live there, but do want to go visit during entire summer, something that I have offered for last 5 years and he turned down because he said it would be to expensive, he would have to get a babysitter, ect.
Now that they are 12 and 14 he thinks they are old enough and it would be more convenient and less expensive than paying child support. I think.

He even told me "you had them for the last 10 years, it's my turn now" How selfish to want them to relocate for his convenience.
Oh yea, He's been divorced twice counting me, and is ready to remarry again.

what do you think.

My response:

Calm down, take it easy - - he's blowing hot air up your bloomers. He's just upset, and is making idle, unsupportable, threats. Let him talk. That's about as far as he'll get.

The best he'll get is visitation rights. In the absense of abuse or neglect, there is no judge on this Earth that would tear away children from the home, the area, the friends, the school, that are familiar to them.

So, let him talk all he wants. He may even go so far as to make such claims in court. If he can't prove anything, then all he will accomplish is paying more in attorney's fees, and getting a judge really pissed off for making unfounded allegations.

Good luck to you.

We have already been to the change of circumstances hearing and a trial date is set for June 6.
We have mediation on May 14, depositions on May 15, and I have already had to go through a At home investigation.
The girls have a GAL that they go see on Monday, and I know they are going to tell her that they want to live here for the school year. They told me even though they love their dad, he's always been good to them, that they are afraid to go live with him because they would be away from me and their step-dad and their brother and sister, brother has special needs and they love him dearly.
I hope this will make their dad think about what he has missed out on in the last 5 summers.

oh yea, every time he is in town he unlimited access to them that even inclused x-mas for the last 10 years that I have only seen them from about 5pm x-mas eve until 10 - 12 noon x-mas day.
