I am in the process of amending my Application for Leave to Appeal and am trying to finalize a few things.

How important is it to have a detailed history of events (and how detailed) leading up to my application for leave to appeal.

I have over 20 pages.

I will cover one topic at a time until it is finished.

Thanks for all the help from everybody**************.

I think your previous thread was probably locked because it was getting too long and detailed and everything was being repeated, and the moderator probably thought all that needed to be said has already been said.

Whatever the case, you do not need to post every page of what you are submitting or have submitted. Certainly do not post everything a second time. :) You provided the link to your court cases, so that is sufficient for anyone wishing to read up on your appeal and respond with suggestions and advice.

The Supreme Court will have all of the previous court records and the Commissioner will review everything and summarize it all for the Justices - so you do not have to be extremely detailed in your application. Include only those details necessary for the issues you are addressing. You are not trying your case. You are showing the Court why it should be retried.

I suggest you review some Michigan Supreme Court appeals. See how they are written and how much information is provided. That will give you a better indication of what you need than anything I can tell you here.

You can still post with questions. But we can use this thread for any additional questions you may have, I guess. :)
