What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Who knows.

I would hope that she couldn't get the rights. As long as you can prove general concern that she might expose your boys to your ex then I don't think she can get the rights. Obviously with aiding your ex she is showing that she doesn't have the boys best interest in mind. I hope that you and your children can find a safe solution to this problem. What a grandma....

If the cost are supplemented through insurance then you shouldn't pay. Unless the insurance company has told her to pay her first and she will be reimbursed later. If this is the case then you should also make sure she reimburses you. In short, if she isn't paying anything out of pocket then you shouldn't be either.

Well, if you take your sister to court for grandparents rights then wouldn't she be arrested if she has a warrant? If your mother wants custody of the kids then it might be something to fight for, but you have to consider all angles. Is there anything your mother could have done that caused your sister not to want her to see the children?

Does your workplace have a policy on drinking? I think it depends on the environment you work in. If you were at a work related party and alcohol was served then it probably shouldn't be an issue. However, if you're just hanging out at work with your friends and having a beer it is probably illegal. Usually you can't drink in public to begin with and if it isn't alright with the employer then you could probably get fired.

Please step away from your keyboard. You are posting on some seriously old posts and you have yet to post any kind of accurate legal advice. Or else, if you are so certain of your position, post case law or statute to back up what you are opining.
