my 16 yr old son, just received his first ticket! C&I following too close, lane violation, attempting to pass intersection, passenger no seat belt (city limits) He said another car was speeding up and slowing down going off road & throwing gravel, so he decided to pass. Police said he was lying & gave him a ticket. Do we need attorney to plead this to a illegal parking or whatever, to save insurance & points??? A Frantic Mother!

Mom, get used to it. I had teenage drivers too.

Consult a lawyer locally by all means as just maybe there is a chance that some violations will be dropped.
