What is the name of your state? California

I received a speeding ticket on October 18,2007. I filed for an extension and then later filed for a trial by declaration. This morning I went on to the L.A. Superior Court website to check the status...and it said :
04/18/2008 in 130 does anyone know what that means? prior to that it said 04/14/08 TBD

HELP!!...this is driving me nuts. I've called the courthouse and they told me to wait for a letter and no one knows what that means.

When did you file the Trial by Declaration?
Ths officer has a set date by which he has to reply or the case is dismissed.:)
It may take several weeks for the judge to rule on the TBWD.
A letter will be sent when the judge rules.
If the driver is ruled against in the TBWD he must file within 20 days of the decision for a new trial.
I've looked for a set date that a reply must be made but haven't found one.:(

Some info is put in columns that aren't apparent until you return to the top of the page. Might try that to see if 180 is in a particular column.

Keep us posted.
Best Regards,

This isn't completely correct. If the officer doesn't reply by the date set by the court, the ticket is not automatically dismissed, it is sent to the judge for consideration.

OP.. what court is this? It is possible that 130 is the division assigned to review the case once all the documents are together. If you provide me the court, I can tell you whether a dept. 130 actually exists.

If you PM me the citation number, I may be able to get to the bottom of it tomorrow:)
