What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I had an eval done a few weeks ago and had my court date yesterday. I was in agreement with the eval report but ex and counsel were not, so they requested a trail.

Now I have a trail date and a settlement conference date as well.

I am in Pro Per and have some timeline/deadline questions I need help with.

what forms do I need to file, what steps need to be taken from here?

How long before the settlement conference do I need to file my statement?

How long before trail does my statement of issues need to be filed?

Motion for discovery? what is this and is this something i am going to need?

How long before trail do I need to subpeona a person?

I have no way of paying for an attorney and must go at this on my own. Any and all advise as to how to move forward would be greatly appreciated.

Once again the trail and settlement conference were just set yesterday, So Im tring to get as much information as possible to guide me through this challenging situation

I think the word you are looking for is trial. You will need to read the civil (state) and local (county) rules of procedure as well as the relevant statues pertaining to family law in CA. Google them they should be easy enough to find. Good luck!
