Truck swerves into my lane

Today a truck swerved into my lane on the highway. In order to avoid hitting him, I swerved into the next lane, my tires slipped and I hit the guard rail. The truck kept going but I saw the company name. Is the truck responsible for any part of my damages ?

Only if you can prove that he caused you to swerve. That means you'd have to identify the truck by license plate, and have an independent witness to corroborate that he came into your lane. So most likely no, there is no way you will be able to prove liability on the part of the mystery truck.
