This is in South Carolina. A few days ago, I wasn't told by my store manager that my district manager had put in my two weeks notice. I had no knowledge of this, and wasn't told about it until 6 days after it was put into the system. Is it legal to put in someone's two weeks notice when they have not given that notice, and then to not tell them that it was put in until days afterward?

So are you saying that your DM submitted a resignation notice for you?

Had you told one of your bosses that you planned to quit?

Details matter.
