ive fallen in love with an american im divorcing my husband to be with him im in the usa we have met and he wants me to join him.When my divorce comes through my boyfriend wants me to go over straight away but im saving up as i do not want to depend on him for money and oce im there ill only have 3 months under the visa waiver as we both dont want to rush into marriage just for the sake of it ie K1 fiancee visa would apply.we want to live together first but im not sure how to go about my stay to enable that please please advise me as once i leave trhe uk to visit him ill lose my job so i really need to know where i stand thanking you in advance

Arriving in the US on a visitor visa with the intent to stay and marry is visa fraud and if the INS gets just a small sniff of it, you will be on your way back to the UK and he will be charged.

K1 is the proper way to go...

thank you for your prompt reply now if we go down the K1 avenue im awaiting on my divorce, can we start this process / K1 now or do i have to wait for my decree absolute?

You have to wait for the divorce as it is one of the first papers to be sent..

thanks again usdeeper in the mean time can i go visit my boyfriend??im hoping to go over for a week in october as thats when i can have time offwork that way we can discuss our future properly

Rent or mortgage agreement.. job contract.. lease or auto fiance agreement.. etc just something to show you are returning...

Oh dear! I dont have a rent agreement my husband deals with that, job contract i received one ,I work ,there is'nt anything on my contract ,things seem a bit different here in the Uk to the USA perhaps you may be able to tell me what this auto fiancee agreement is that may help because i'm more than confused now please accept my appologies if it seems I am ignorant but certain papers u requested I should take, I dont have....:O(

To visit the US, all you need is a passport.. if you mention you are visiting a b/f then there is a silm chance they may stop you... I always recommend that you bring something to show the immigration people that you intend to return.. auto finance.. ie, a finance agreement on a car you are buy.

If you have nothing then do not worry about it.
