My ex-husband's now wife had been accessing my checking and savings accounts from a credit union at which she was and still is employed, she made print outs of my accounts and gave this information to my former husband. My accounts were at a different credit union but they were somehow affiliated. Is this legal? They did not take any money, but he knew of all financial transactions that I made for a 3 year period, and slipped up several times when he told me exactly what my direct deposts were, and they varied from week to week depending on the amount of overtime I worked. I did contact the mgr of the credit union where she worked, but nothing was done due to the fact that her mother happens to be the mgr. I really thought that there were laws to protect MY rights to privacy, as well as repercussions for the offender. Is there anything that can be done?
