What is the name of your state? FL
What happens if the person was under 18 at the time of the application and continued to use the credit cards until after turning 18?
Is the original contract (application) binding?
And this question from someone who tries to provide legally accurate advice to others!!! Things like:
"In my experience, any legal document longer than a page, should have both parties' initial on every page."
and
"I am not at all familiar with the school system in NY, but in general:
As far as I am concern, corporal punishment is not allowed in school any where in the US. It was in the past.
Teacher is not to have any physical contact with student. If he does, I am sure you could press charges against him."
and
"Show me some proof of allowable corporal punishment in the state of Florida.
Until then, state quite.
You guys obviously have a problem with those of us that sincerely try to help. As I said before, you are all on my personal ignore list starting.... NOW"
and
"Hey JERK, oooh I am sorry, I meant, JETX"
and
"Anyhow, if you notice, the poster is in NY, and according to your own sources, it is illegal in NY. Therefore, I am technically correct.
The bottom line is, althought you have proven your point, as far as I am concern, corporal punishment should be illegal. I would not allow any stranger to lay a finger on my kids. That job should be left to parents. And even then, for the most part, hitting a kid, won't help. There are other kinds of punishment that work a lot better.
Besides, when you raise your kids the right way to begin with, which they obviously forgot to do with you, there is no need for any type of punishment."
and
"Teachers in your school district or maybe even your state, might not have cell phones out during classes.
They do here... And I've seem them with my own two eyes. I hope we hear from other parents or even students that have witnessed this before."
IAAL, I have to presume you didn't recognize this writer when you responded.
