What is the name of your state? PA

I've held an under the table job for some time and was paid by personal check and earned a total of 6000. The person that paid me is presently mad at me for quiting and I am considering a possibility that he will try to report me to IRS for not paying taxes. He has my address but that's about it. Any sugesstions aside from the fact that I should consider paying the taxes on this income of 6000? Is there a reason why the person that paid me should be responsible in some way to pay ss and uc tax? How much of a trouble will I be in if he reports me?

*** Sorry, but it is not a purpose of this forum to condone or assist in violating the laws.

"Is there a reason why the person that paid me should be responsible in some way to pay ss and uc tax?"
*** In addition to possible penalties, depending on the full facts (you may have qualified as an 'independent contractor', he could face paying the employer 7.65% of FICA.

"How much of a trouble will I be in if he reports me?"
*** How much is 'how much'??? You would be looking at paying the unpaid taxes owed, plus interest and penalties.

Could you expand that please. I don't know what FICA means.

You've got to be kidding. Have you ever worked before in your life? In this country?
