What is the name of your state? Ohio

Let me give a little background. I am chinese and I am currently in high school. I live in a small town and my family is the only chinese family in teh area and I am teh only chinese student.

Recently I was accused of forging a test paper for one of my classes in High school. The reason the school believed that I forged the test was because the first page looked alot different than the otther student's tests ( ex. the font and some math symbols)
However, the thing was that test already had a grade on it and that grade was the same on the test as it is on the computer! That is why I argued that since teh grades were the same, both on teh test and on the teacher's records then that means I didn't forge teh test.

What I sense to be unfair is that I was suspended for 10 days. Becuase that was considered cheating and in any past cases, if anyone cheated, they were given a warning, or a detention or at the very most a saturday school. I believe that becuase I am chinese, I was given an harder punishment and a unjustifyed one at that.

I appealled to the school board but teh decision was upheld. What should I do?

First learn to spell "the" properly. Nowhere in your post do you remotely hint that you were being discrimnated aganist because of your race. Because you need an out, a lightbulb came and said "Oh let me play the race card" You got caught cheating. Hope you learned something (propbably not)---move along

I wasn't caught cheating, I was accused of cheating. There is a difference. Also I didn't have time to check my spelling, and besides why are you nitpicking on something stupid such as "the" being spelled teh?

Also what I didn't add was that a simliar incident had happened last year where someone was putting bottles of gross things in other people's lockers, and I was pulled into the office and threatened with being expelled if I don't talk. All of this reasoning was based on the fact that somneone "thought" I could have done it. During the time that I was being grilled by the principal and a police officer, there were remarks made such as " oh your parents work in a resturant, now how do you think that'll affect their bussiness if people found out about this and this gets carried away? SO why don't you just confess?" "Your parents are immigrants here, and they don't have money to hire a lawyer if we decide to press charges, so do yourself a favor and talk"

In the end, all their accusations was just bull**** and I wasn't charged or anything so I didn't bring them into court because they were right, my parent's don't have the money or the time so I just let it go. That is why I think this time, they felt like I shouldn't "get away with something again" and that is why I feel like there is discrimination.

So before you know the whole story, stop being all hardcore demeaning other people's cases. Do you get a trill by putting mean comments on other people posts?

Coolfez, um it's useless trying to get advice in here. I am getting the same kind of treatment as well. Believe me this is just a group of angry nerds who just wants to roll their eyes in judgement of you.

Don't waste your time. You are better off calling someone in your town to ask for advice. Some (not all) of the regulars here have issues.

Maybe next time you should tell the whole story that way when you accuse people of not knowing it you would not look like a fool.

Hey BelizeBreeze, wow ur original. It's people like you who are dragging America down. Why don't you take a boat home also to where ever the **** you came from? Because unless you're 100% Native American which I Know ur not, I believe ur grand-grand- father came here from another country.

Also I see that ur a "Senior Member", do you think you have some resemblance of a life by sitting on ur fat ass and typing rude and dumb comments in this website all daylong because you have no friends, no love life, or anything to do? I'm sorry but you're pathetic.

Thanks Knogood.

Also I missed 2 final exams, and I recently founds this at http://www.advocatesforchildren.org/pubs/prinsusp.html

My principal would not allow me to make up the exams I missed, is he in violation of this law?

The law has jurisdiction over school policies right?
You never cease to amaze me with your ignorance. This post has absolutely nothing to do with your 'rights'. You were suspended and there was nothing illegal about it.

Either hire an attorney, spend about $20,000 of your own money, or buy a ticket on that boat. You're a disgrace to the U.S. Educational system.
