What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mass.
In my public safety field we have a contract with a public safety union. Due to a medical condition I was suspended from work, lost a large amount of wages and forced to hire private attorney. Union stated that due to it being a non work related injury (not likely but possibly could be) they refused to represent me. Union attorney referred me to private attorney which was later discovered to be a past law partner. Any recourse? Thanks.
