What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

What type of lawyer would I need if I wanted to file a lawsuit against the Union and against the company I worked for? As a disabled Veteran, will that open up any other options I can have available to me? Any help is appreciated, Thank you...:(

You'll want a "labor & employment law" attorney.

Thank you for your service to our country. :)

We would be happy to discuss your CBA, if you care to explain what happened. We can then expand into any articles related, if necessary.

It's bad enough to be lied to and treated bad, but to be humiliated, harassed, discriminated, and assaulted is outrageous enough, but the union has mostly ignored my issues or swept them under the rug. I'm to the point of pulling my hair out, so many other issues to deal with... :(

How about letting one or two issues go?

If you hate that job, can you leave it for another?

I'm no longer employed by the company, I was forced out of my job. I'm a disabled veteran and the job I had I enjoyed, but they took it away from me. It's a whole mess of issues that gone back over the years. Getting another job is just about out of the question at this point in time. My medical issues have worsened, because I went private practice and wasn't using the VA services, which I'm dealing with now, I'm dealing with the doctors on this and it's another whole different can of worms, because he refused to send me to the doctors I need, why I can only guess, but I'm going back in with all my private practice medical records and demand a reason why he won't send me to the specialists I need to see. I have a lot of issues going on and I'm just trying to make sure my family is taken care of.

You have my utmost sympathy. I am in a similar situation. Unfortunately you can only advance a union grievance based on your CBA and union support. You can only advance disability actions with government agencies. You cannot force a doctor to practice medicine or support you working disabled forever, if it presents a risk to their license.
