I know enough about traffic tickets to know that if they are not paid your license is suspended. No ifs, ands, or buts. Being in another State may or may not make a difference. You can contact anonomously to the local DMV and inquire, and ask them how much power that/or any collection agency has over their system. There may be a chance they don't. You may have had a chance to make payments earlier if the judge accepted your motion for same before it was in default. But I am not a lawyer and am just thinking what I would do first. I'd want know where my State stands on that issue and if my State was interactive with the last State. Good luck, hope a lawyer answers you soon!
