I lived with my boyfriend for 15 years, we have a child together. We live in Indiana where there is no "common Law" marrigae. 2 years ago we split up. We split some of the household belongings. Since my name was not on the deed or the mortgage to the house, that was not split. He has graciously paid $240 per month to help with day care and expenses etc. there is no set visitation, just whenever he wants, which is mostly 1 night per week. I now wonder if i shouldn't have gotten a lawyer and is it too late to get one now? What would i be entitled to?
