Unwanted Pregancy

I live in New Jersey. I am currently married with two great kids - a boy and girl. A few days ago my wife found out that she is pregnant. We starting seeing a marriage counseler about 4 months ago, and I told her I do not think this is a good time to have a another child, but she does not want to have a abortion. She thinks this will brings us closer. I feel like I have to go along with whatever she wants.

Does the husband have any rights in this?????

My response:

In keeping with our Supreme Courts' decision in "Roe vs. Wade" (1973), the female is the only person in charge of her body, and the only person who makes the decision concerning what is done with her body in terms of abortion or going to full term with the pregnancy.

The male's rights begin at the moment there is a "live birth" of the fetus. Until that time, the fetus has no more rights (with the exception of certain criminal statutes) than her liver, pancreas, or other organ or tissue in the female's body.

Basically as a man it boils down to this. You have the right to get a vasectomy (even that doesn't always work), and you have the right to try and be a good father once the child makes it into this world. If you didn't want to have any more, you should have done something about it BEFORE you had sex with her again. I hope you can get past your fustration and be a good father to your children.
