What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
The previous owner of the upstairs condo decided to install hardwood floors throughout the entire property by himself a year or two ago and has since sold his unit to a flight attendant who gets home very early in the morning and causes a lot of noise disturbance directly above our master bedroom. I work at night and my fiance has health issues that prevent him from being able to go back to sleep once awakened so this is unacceptable. We have tried talking to him in a civil manner but the neighbor refuses to change anything. Any advice? I am talking to the condo association to see if the person who made the structural changes went through all the proper channels but is there any way to sue for noise disturbance or something like that? Any help would be appreciated - we can't continue to go on like this! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
