US citizen wants to marry German

Hi everyone, I'm a US born citizen and live in California. I met a german woman online and we met in person when I traveled to Germany. Well we fell in love and she wants to move here in the US. If we were to marry, what necessary steps will need to be taken?

Thank you for your reply. For the step "have met 2 years before filing a petition" how can we prove that we met in person? We don't really have photos of us together in one photo, only separate photos of us but in the same location (that being in Germany)
