What is the name of your state? California
I had bought a used 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan on 9-1-07 from a local dealer. Of course, I signed all kinds of paperwork including a "Sold As Is" one. I buy the van. Then one week later, the trasmission dies. I replace it, $1800 later. All happened within 2 1/2 weeks.
As of today 3-20-08. My co worker tells me that I can complain (by law) to the dealer, because it broke down within 30 days.
Cause dealers are not supposed to sell me a vehicle possibly knowing about the transmission without telling me about it.
I certainly don't believe it. It's cause I know Im ON MY OWN. It says so: AS IS, and I signed it.
Now the question? Is it TRUE what my co-worker says?
