What is the name of your state?

TX
I co-signed for a new vehicle for my son in December 2001. Two months after (Feb. 2002), the motor had to be replaced which according to the manufacturer the motor was defective. The motor had to be replaced again in 2003. During this whole time, he repeatedly returned to have the "leaky sunroof" repaired and that never did get repaired. In December 2003, he returned this vehicle. He notified the car dealership and the manufacturer he was turning this vehicle back into them. According to my credit report and his, this is now showing up as a "voluntary repossession" with the remaining balance owed.
He never missed a payment and was never late with a payment.
How do I dispute this with the manufacturer and the credit reporting agencies to remove this from our credit reports? Does this vehicle fall under the "lemon" law?

Sorry, but you don't. Clearly he did miss payments after he voluntarily returned the vehicle to the dealer and presumably stopped making payments.

Does this vehicle fall under the "lemon" law?
Based solely on the information in your post, no.
For the Texas Lemon Law to apply, you had to make your complaint within six months of the FIRST of the following:
1. expiration of the express warranty term;
2. 24 months, or
3. 24,000 miles following the date of delivery of the vehicle (except TRVs).
In other words, the filing period is determined by which of the above events occurs first.
Further, there are specific legal requirements that you would have to follow before you can assert a lemon law claim. For more on this process, go to: ftp://ftp.dot.state.tx.us/pub/txdot-info/mvd/lemon/2004lemonlaw.pdf
