My ex and I now each live in the state of Missouri but each of us now live in a different county than our original divorce and custody cases have been. Where will any future proceedings take place? The original county? The county where the kids primary residence is?

My response:

Future proceedings will now take place in the County where the children have satisfied that County's residency requirements. However, on the first new filing in the new County, a motion must be filed to transfer the court file from the old County to the new. A transfer fee may be required.
