What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Hello, this may be different, but I believe it is worth to post a thread about. Now, this does indeed concern a video game.

Someone has reported my game on the video game client 'Starcraft 2'. Here is the report:

Topic - I want to report someone or something

Topic Details - I want to report a player or inappropriate map content

The Sc2 custom game SC2 Mafia that is currently on the front page allows players to name themselves racist things. Also if you are being lynched and have donor status or around 5000 points, it asks you how you want to be executed and if you type "like a jew" it will kill you in a gas chamber. This was done PURPOSELY and I find this is extremely offensive.

Also the creator of the game has it so it will put certain people on a list and automatically drop them from the game. Or it puts you up for ridicule and advises the other players to drop you from the game. Note that this is not the same as in desert strike where if you see someone doing something dumb/wrong you can kick them. It is prior to the game and is based on the creator's decision.

I don't think its right that this game is on the front page of the custom maps list or even allowed on battlenet. It definitely has ruined my multiplayer experience personally. Thanks for reading.

Now, that is the report against the game I've created and spent countless hours working on.

Here is the client's policies:

I could use some real help on this. How one would one be able to be combatant against this claim? Are there any loop holes that anyone can recognize against his claim? I would really appreciate it so much if someone could help me on this matter. Thanks.

Find a different game to play.

Wish it was that easy. When you spend countless hours(400+ hours) creating a game for everyone to enjoy, It's hard to just let it go. It's very popular and I think a lot of people will be quite angry if it gets removed.

It's not much but they may find some support in the 1st amendment of the US Constitution

How does the First amendment apply to a private entity deciding not to host objectionable material. He posts similar stuff here and he'd be gone in less than 30 seconds.

The terms of battlenet.com pretty much say they can pull the plug on you at any time for any reason. Your sole remedy is limited to picking up your marbles and going home.

I misunderstood and misread the situation. I thought he was arguing that he was offended by the names etc. and wanted to force them to stop. As such, it would be the right of the owner of the game to allow such posts or respond as they wish, including booting them from the game.

Spend a couple of thousand more hours creating a game from scratch and run it on your own servers. Then you can make your own rules and be as offensive as you'd like.

I agree with the others. The first amendment has a freedom of association clause too. They are free to not associate with those they don't like. (If a server is found to be a public accommodation someday, that may change. But, even with the possible change, it would not help the OP.)
