hey guys, yea so im sure this has been mentioned but its just hard to search somthing like this lol, cause i dont mean just linking with text.

I was told it is legal to take a screen shot of the video and turn down the rez and link it to the video? if this is true i would like to know how much you have to turn it down by(the resolution). thanks guys

There is no such thing as an amount you have to reduce it by. If you make copies of copyrighted material (and just about everything is) you are infringing, whether they are stills or moving clips.

Now there are a few openings in fair use if these are shots for review purposes, etc.... but you've not really explained that you are doing anything that might be considered fair use.

thanks man. but yea thats what i thought to, how you cant just change a certain amount, but some other forum told me you could obviously ther gay.

so what were the things that i could do to make it fair? like you said.

what im tryin to do is put some color on my site cause im sic of all text lol. iv created my own stuff on photoshop, but my site is a mma and boxing site and id like to put pics of fighters you know lol but i dont get out enough to actualy go to las vegas and take the pics myself.

you have any ideas? thanks
