What is the name of your state? WA

I have been getting medications filled at a local pharmacy for six years for documented chronic back problems. One of my neighbors is friends with one of the clerks at this local pharmacy. I just learned from my other neighbor that this clerk disclosed the medications I am taking, accused me of abusing them, and accused me of abusing my daughter. All of the above are blatantly false lies. The neighbor that informed me of this is credible because she knew what meds I take, and I had never spoken with her before. Apparently, the neighbor that is friends with the clerk told this information to my next-door neighbor, who in turn, relayed the message to me. She also knows and informed my next-door neighbor of the medications she is taking. Now, this vindicative neighbor (for what reason I have not a clue) has gone through the neighborhood informing everyone we are drug abusers. Do I have any legal recourse in this? At the very least, I would like this clerk fired. I also would like something done about the vindictive neighbor who is slandering my name. Can you give me any advice???

Could the neighbor have learned about these things from your daughter?

Re:

Negative. My daughter is only seven-years-old. She does not have a clue what meds I take, as I have them secured where only I can access them. No, I have seen the pharmacy clerk over visiting the vinidictive neighbor frequently. They often sit outside and smoke while staring into my living room window (all of our houses are VERY close together). The other neighbor who had her meds revealed to her, she and I had only spoken once before. I have never disclosed my medications to anyone other than my doctors and immediate family. I am 100-percent certain that the information came from the pharmacy clerk.
