Okay so I work for a hotel company.. during a meeting yesterday they said that we will be doing a sort of project and that it's mandatory.. my boss told me I will be required to be on camera during this project.. it's something about what each of us do to save energy in our day to day work practice.. I guess the video is going to be played for other employees and other properties.. I just don't feel comfortable with being on camera and find it to violate my right to privacy. So my question is can they legally force me to appear on camera and if I refuse to do so can they cause me trouble??? Please help

They can't "force" you. You are free to seek employment elsewhere.

ETA: Per the OP's other (unsuccessful) post, this is relating to Illinois.

You can refuse.
They can fire you, legally, for refusing.

There are no privacy laws that would force the employer to exempt you from this requirement. They can make it a requirement and they can fire you if you refuse.
