What is the name of your state? Virginia

My son has two boys age 12 and 14. They live with thier mother and my son has every other weekend. He pays child support and health insurance. The last time he went to court about some issues concerning her claiming the boys on taxes( divorce decree says he does) she got mad and then asked for upping the support. this doubled his support. But he has always paid. She then would not let him see the boys but he had such bad feelings about going back to court , he didn`t. He didn`t see the boys at all for about 2 yrs. last year he kept calling every other w/e and asked for the boys, and she finally let him have them. Now again she is threating him to take him back to court for more support. He pays her $700 a month plus health ins. She does this whenever she doesn`t get her way, like asking him to pay for something. he also buys them clothes. The thing is she went and quit her job as she was working nights. And even tho she lied about her income last time the judge did the % thing based on what she said. She is remarried and oldest son is 18 so she doesn`t get support for him anymore. What is with the Va. custody laws. He had a lawyer the last time and got the raw deal then ,so he needs a GOOD lawyer this time. Any help would really be appreciated

He needs to track his visitation time and every single time it is denied. Once he's armed with proof, he can file contempt charges against her for denying visitation. He can also ask that the court impute income to her based on what she was making when she was working.

He needs to start talking with father friendly lawyers.
