I was in this exact situation with Illinois. THe only thing was that the ncp does live in Illinois. What area of Illinois are you from? If you have any kind of information you can give them to help them catch him they will be happy to take it. There is a set amount, but in my case they actually arrested him and then the judge let him go without paying the amount. He did have one stipulation to have a job, but the next court date. Which happened to be the following week. He wasn't as far behind as your. He owes me around $4000.00. They told him if he didn't get a job the were going to put him in jail to work it off and i would recieve like $7.00 a day until he was caught up.He did get a job just for the court date and quit. The CSE is going to try to prosecute him again. Also to let you know the police did say they would work with me so that my son wouldn't see his dad being arrested. Do you know where in California he lives, because if so you could contact them and let them know what is going on. THey may contact the police department in Illinois to find out what is going on, so they can try to arrest him.

<QUOTE> I'm hoping that now he will be stopped by a police officer here in Illinois.........I don't want to be the one to do it. < <END QUOTE>

If he ends up in the NCIC, you could always just make that little anonymous tip about that really drunk driver. Driving ___________ model vehicle with license number ______________ down ____________ road. He is basically running cars off the road. It would be a shame if he were to hurt anyone and shouldn't an officer check it out?

Then set back and let the local law enforcement take over.

That's a good one.....

I was thinking along the same lines..........
here is my little plan....
he will tell me of the address or hotel he'll be staying while he's here.............the police could get a call from an 'anonymous' person that he is 'disturbing the peace'.......

Still waiting on answers...please.....

I want to give a brief summary of my situation.....
The NCP owes over $25,000 in CS under a CS order from 1994.
There is a warrant out for his arrest. He (the NCP) is thinking of coming to see his daughter. I don't think he knows about the warrant.....and if he does he is taking it lightly if he still wants to come see her.

1. Do I call the cops and have him arrested when he comes?

2. Do I get a restraining order? (He has been abusive in the past)

3. Can he get away?

Pucker, the NCP lives in Los Angeles, I have contacted Child Support services there and they said that they need the Illinois state's attorney's office to send the warrant out to them. I'm working on that.
