I live with my son in Oregon. His father lives in Washington.
I have full custody. My ex is supposed to have two weeks each month in the summer visitation. However, he has been legally homeless for the last year. He lives with friends and occasionally with the mother of his second child. He has lived on and off with her for the last five years, though she is the only person on the lease and she kicks him out regularly.
With their first visit this summer they stayed at various places, even sleeping in my ex's van one night.
I have told my ex that until he finds a place to live, where my son can be properly taken care of, that my son is not going to go visit. My ex is now telling me that he will be staying with his ex-girlfriend, mother of his other child, during my sons' visits. I told him that since it never worked before I doubted it would this time. My son does not want to stay at her house due to the fighting between the two of them.
What do I need to do to ensure that I'm not in contempt of court and how do I go about doing that?
