Visitation question

My stbx had our 10 yr old for the weekend and was supposed to pick up our 13 yr old at school this afternoon for visitation with her. He picked up both girls and when our 10 yr old told him that she wanted to come home because we had plans for the evening since it was just going to be the two of us, he refused to bring her home or even let her call me to tell me that she was with him. We are still working off of the temp order wich only states "reasonable visitation" for him. Can he just pick the kids up at school and take them
anytime he wants without letting me know or clearing it with me first? The agreement for this evening was that he would have the 13 yr old until 8pm. The girls have been taking turns spending the weekend with him. He has the 10 yr old one weekend and the 13 yr old the next.

You are discovering part of the problem with the term reasonable. But why might I ask is he only getting 1 child at a time? I am sure the girls don't always like being split up the way they are. In the difficult time of you and their dad splitting up their bond is the only truly solid thing. Perhaps you should rework the schedule a little bit and get it much more clear as to specific times.

Yes, when its "reasonable visitation" visitation is supposed to be agreed between the two of you. He isn't supposed to just take them.
