i live in north carolina and some years back i retained a lawyer to get visitation to see my daughters who are 14 and 15 now.
court papers and everything was filed and visitations were set up.within this last year the mother makes up alot of excuse when its my week to get them. my question what can i do about it. does visitaton rights expired after so many years or does it stay in effect till they get a certain age?

Well, they become pretty worthless when the child reaches their late teens.. but until them, they are still valid. Write her a letter to begin with and inform her you will be taking her to court if she does not follow the current orders. After that, you have no choice but to go back to court.
