Washington(only U.S. law)?
I was injured on the job, and am now participating in vocational rehabilitation and attending college for retraining through workers comp. I have been told that I am eligible to apply for financial aid (PELL) from the college. My question is, is it ok for me to accept a pell grant or similar financial aid while on Workers Comp and in vocational rehab (L&I are paying for my college tuition and books)? If I do get a grant, do I have to report it to my claims officer or vocational counseller? and will they dock my time loss benefits if I receive any money from another souce?
