W2 Contract in So Cal

I recently left a contract in Southern California early(w/o giving three weeks notice as stated in the contract).

I had accumulated 91 hrs at that time and
have not been paid.

The contract says nothing about withholding
pay for a breach, do I have any grounds(recourse) for legal action?

Thanks in advance

Generally, California law requires an employer to pay an employee who quits all wages due within 72 hours. Failure to pay timely can result in a penalty of "continued wages" for up to 30 days. The employer is not permitted to withhold anything for breach or other "offset." The Labor Board is a good place to start. Or an experienced wage and hour attorney can write you a letter. Attorneys' fees recovery is also permitted if a suit is required.
