What is the name of your state? OK/TX/AZ
My question is in regard to wage garnishment. If a creditor gets a judgement against you do you go by the wage garnishment laws in the state that you live in, or the state where your company/employer is located that pays you.
Also, does it matter if the corporate office is in one state (where you do not live) but there is a branch of the company in the state where you do live.
My husband works out of neither location- he is a virtual employee and travels all over the US and abroad.
Ugggghhh - this stuff gets so complicated
Thanks
