What is the name of your state? Florida
I reside in a ground floor condo. A water leak has been detected under the foundation in my living room. The condo association claims that it is my responsibility to have it fixed. My insurance company claims that it is the Condo Associations responsibility to have it fixed. The cost is estimated at $3,000 to $4,000. Who is correct and what can I do to rectify the situation.

If it is a pipe thats leaking and the pipe serves only your unit then its on you , If its a pipe that is shared that is leaking then I would say its a common area item that the association needs to pay for. SO have you had a plumber take a look ? BTW can you see if your city hall has a record of the building plans ? If so I bet it would be even easier for a plumber to assist you if its a pipe leaking.
