In Pennsylvania, I just starting working for a company a few months ago as a sales agent for a construction company. The agreement was that I would earn $600 per week draw against commission. Over the last several weeks...thousands of dollars (close to 55,000) have not gotten approved. The last few weeks the owner told me that my account was in jeopardy of going in the negative. As a result, today he didnt pay me because he said that my account was in the hole. And further when I told him that he still had to pay me and that it wasnt right...I told him I would make some phone calls to find out if he could legally do that, he told me to turn in my samples...in other words, he fired me. From all of the research I have been working on, it doesnt sound like this is legit...can you please enlighten me...oh, nothing on any of my checks said "loan".
Thank you,

The Ad In The Paper I Answered Was $600 Plus Commission...but The Agreement Was $600 A Week Draw Against...and Once I Did Draw 1000 Out Because The Accounts Way Exceeded

Okay, I guess my point was too subtle. My fault entirely.

If you are looking for a law that says, "A commission agreement must be handled in X way", you aren't going to find one.

It doesn't matter diddly what the ad in the paper said.

If you believe that your employer is violating your commission agreement, you are going to have to show that agreement to a local attorney. No one here can comment on an agreement they have not read.
