What is the name of your state? NC
What can you do when the CP is not letting you talk to your kids? This woman has alienated these kids from their dad and continues to do it and to get away with it. What rights does my husband have when it comes to his own children? Any? They live in CT we live in NC. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

The order says: Father is to communicate with mother directly to arrange visitation. Father may call the children at any reasonable time.

HOW is he supposed to arrange anything with her when she is being so unreasonable? I guess he will just have to go back to court AGAIN. Thanks for replying.

I have the same problem with my ex. I just save all of my phone bills. They show that I do call every weekend multiple times and the duration of the call. Once you have a few saved up file for contempt.

Contempt of what? There's nothing specific that she's in contempt of. What's reasonable to one is not to another. That is totally crappy language to have in an order and it needs to be modified with specific language.

Contempt for not allowing contact over a long period of time. A week here and a week there won't be all that great but if you can show months (like I can) then it might help you cause. Mind you, my wording is a lot more specific though as to when I can and cannot contact the children. In OP's case I don't know if I would go to court specifical;ly to filke for contempt for this one thing but if she is there anyways filing something else and gonna be in court anwyays it might be worth bringing up.

The order needs to be modified to be more specific. W/o specific wording, it's difficult - if not impossible - to prove contempt.

I would go to court and try to modify the order to make a specific visitation schedule. And then if she continues to not let him see his kids then you could file for contempt.
