no custody support ever filed...child is 9...has resided with me all life...father was rarely around but i never denied him seeing her or calling her...( NIEVE!!!!)

Father wasnt sending child home after visitation as was agreed upon (verbally, but later got it acknowledged by him, the agreed dates, via the AOL IM ) hred an atty, on the 30th of july, went to court on the 3th of aug...he was to return her immediately no later than aug 4th so she could start scholl on aug. 6th, she was returned aug 7th at 10:30 p.m.( she had a round trip ticket to begin with)....any way the papers were:

Order to show cause

Application for order & supporting declaration

my written declaration (2 pages)

exhibit A ( the airline round trip information )

exhibit B a 2 pge AOL IM between the father and I...him acknowledging the verbal agreement

Temporary orders (this is where he is to return her immediatly)

what exactly are all these papers, what do they mean, and where would i find a web site that could explain them all to me in BLONDE terms? during this whole process it was so rushed i didnt really know what the heck was happening all i cared about was getting my child back.

My response:

If everybody just read my previous posts, and got a book on the subject of Divorce / Dissolution, from their neighborhood bookstore, all of these types of questions would be answered - - including exemplars of these types of forms.

I swear to you, they are all in the book, with easy to follow instructions and directions for use.

Good luck to you. Go now.

I really would recommend you get a book as IAAL suggests, it explains things in greater detail.

In the meantime, this site allows you to look up at least some of your phrases or by word:
