What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ

What do you guys think that this means? I'm about to sign a contract for contract work through a staffing organization and I want to get your opinion on what you this this clause means.

"E. For a period of six (6) months following termination of his/her last assignment with the Client, Contractor shall not accept any employment with or agree to provide services, whether directly or indirectly through another third party, to any Client organization for which he/she has been assigned by TCC. Contractor acknowledges that TCC shall have the right to enforce this contract, as well as recover damages jointly and severally from the Contractor and any involved third parties associated with any violation of this paragraph."

BTW, I would be the contractor who would be employed with the the staffing organization (TCC) which is the middleman between me and the client.

Thanks!

It seems clear to me, but this forum is not the appropriate place for interpreting contracts, or portions of contracts with no context. You may wish to consult with a local attorney.

This is a basic non-compete contract. My advice: save your copy of this contract. From there, this is all irrelevant unless you are offered any form of employment, whether directly or indirectly, by this client without the inclusion of the staffing organization; once this happens, bring this contract to your attorney and ask if what you're doing is allowable.
