What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL
I am the Defendant in a legal case where there has been little to no litigation regarding the actual action, due to the numerous attorney, servicing, and ownership changes on the loan. Both parties have consistently appeared on an almost monthly/bimonthly basis and each time the Petitioner has asked for a continuance. There have also been annual Progress/Status calls on the case where no action was taken.
Recently I received a “Notice of Court Date” on the Court’s own Motion requiring me to appear on a certain date/time for a “Motion of the Court.” I am Pro Se and not familiar with this. Can you please advise as to what the Court may be seeking to do with this Motion?
Thank you very much in advance.
