What is the name of your state? Florida

Ok..I have been in a domestic violence relationship before.....I thought this one was different ..but it wasn't.

To get down to the point.... After an altercation....When he left my house he took everything...from his computer...to his tennis shoes...to his workclothes....

Now he says I have more of his stuff....and he is gonna call the law...and the law is gonna force the fact that he have free run of my house so he can collect his stuff....

I have nothing more of his!

So when the "law" comes knocking on my door.....do I have to allow this to happen?.....Can I tell them if they don't have a warrant...to go take a long walk on a short bridge?

Well, the "law" certainly isn't going to give him free run of your home. IF they come to the door (and they may not, these threats may be just his way of continuing to abuse you) then very calmly explain that he took all of his possessions when he left, and there is nothing more of his in the home.

He is out of the house and has been, meaning it is now out of the local law enforcements hands, unless he comes over and starts problems. If he has any issues he has the opportunity to go to small claims court to address his complaint. The police is not going to get a warrant for personal property unless it was involved in a crime inwhich they need the property.

Wait a minute... that may not be entirely true. I say that because if he is on the lease or listed as an occupant or he is the (co-) owner of the property then he has rights to enter the place UNLESS there is a court order saying otherwise.
