texas. how do i find out about the rights a parent has he does not want to see me or his daughter(2yrs old) anymore we were never married but only lived off and on together for a while.he is was abusive that is why i left him.he put bruises on her because she wet her diaper and i grabbed her up and left for good.i have vowed to never ever go back.

and you filed a police report and had the child inspected by a doctor right?

If not, and you have no proof of the abuse, then he is within his rights to file for visitation and have the child on a regular basis. You need to establish proper court ordered custody and child support.
