I am just confused about the whole family help and the court facilitater thing that the courts have to help you represent yourself in family court cases. I had completed a temporary child custody order and needed to only have it noterized and filed, I was at a mediation and I had gotten the papers ready just in case the mediation did not work out, when I went to file them and get them noterized my daughters dad was down there. When I got to the clerk and asked her to do this she refused to file my papers or noterize them she told me that I needed to make an appointment and that there was not one available for atleast two weesk. I explained that i did not need there assistance in anything except for noterizing the papers and filing them and she refused and told me that she could however, see me in two weeks. Can they do this and who can i complain to?? And now the next day my daughters father just so happens to file a paper blocking what I was going to file!!! Isnt this a conflict of intrest? I did not even need her assistance in anything!! How can a court make you have to go through this thing and they are also the samepeople that are helping the other party?? Why didnt they make him wait 2 weeks for an appointment? I feel like I am digging a whole trying to find dry dand! He goes and tells these people this i am a sigle father fantasy story and I think that the only part that is the truth is his name. I am so stuck I dont even feel like I can even file the papers I need. I know that the clerk told him what I was going to file and what to stop it! he called after he served and he just laughed at me! I CANT BELIVE THIS! My only true question is, ?? Why are they helping him to not just hurt me, but the emotional scars it is going to leave on my daughter?? He did make sure at the mediaton to let me know that she asks about me and she misses me alot! She is three, I am thinking about just allowing for his petition because he says that I can them have her back! he does not even want her he just wants to make sure he wont have to pay child support! I think that by the time we actually have a day in court I will probably already be commited !
