wild and out of control 15 year old daughter

we live in westren kansas, and have 4 daughters. our oldest daughter, 15, has been getting into trouble, she has been sneaking out, lying, skipping school. she was brought home after being caught out with an 18 year old boy, who is on probation for molesitng his 2 year old niece. we are attending parenting classes, and have her in psychotherapy, but she still is sneaking out and lying about it and trying to get her 13 year old sister involve. what are our rights in the state of kansas as far as a restraining order against the 18 year old? will we be liable if she gets arrested for drugs, we have had her tested several times and she remains negative. do we have the rights as parents to let juvenile take her when she gets arrested again. what are the legal reprecusions if we do what has been suggested in parenting class to let her just leave and let her learn to deal with life on her own, since she is not 18 yet?

My response:

First, you tell us your State name, as this site instructs.

Second, you learn how to be a parent by taking a "parenting course".

Third, you get her some serious psychotherapeutic counseling.

Fourth, you stop whining, and do something positive.

Good luck.

I'm sorry for what you're going through, I know how difficult it is. The only thing I can offer is experience, I'm not a lawyer. I tried to juv. court system for help, it really made everything worse. They look at you like the enemy and forget you went there for help, they didn't make you go to them. If it's any encouragement, my daughter 'grew up', leads a good, responsible life and even thanks me for always standing by her. As long as you always do what you feel in your heart to be right, and not be swayed by 'experts', she'll be find, eventually! Good luck!
